ShutUpDundun is a tiny, lightweight quality-of-life addon designed for players who want a more peaceful and focused Abundance experience.
Features
- Comprehensive Audio Muting: Automatically mutes exactly 41 specific audio files (FileDataIDs) associated with the Dundun Rat's dialogue and event triggers in Abundances.
- Zero Configuration: Install it and forget it. There are no menus, no options, and no setup required. It starts working the moment you enter the game.
- Micro Footprint: Exceedingly lightweight. It simply registers standard Blizzard API audio muting (
MuteSoundFile) on login. It will not impact your game's performance, framerate, or loading times.
How it Affects Your Experience
When running Abundances repeatedly, the NPC dialogue can become repetitive and distracting, especially if you are listening to your own music, communicating with friends on voice chat, or just prefer to focus on the mechanics in peace.
