Open Sesame

Automatically open clams and unlocked containers in your bags, no clicking required. Built-in Speedy Loot hides the loot window for near-instant auto looting, and Loot Toasts show every pickup so your eyes stay on the fight. Fast, efficient looting.

Features

📦 Auto-Opening // Opens clams, sacks, crates, and unlocked containers in the background, no clicks required, and always respects your Ignore List.

🔐 Locked Items // Hover a lockbox to see the Lockpicking skill it needs and whether yours clears it. Once unlocked, it pops open automatically.

⚡ Speedy Loot // Hides the loot window so you can pick up loot near-instantly.

🔊 Loot Notifications // On-screen toasts log every pickup, and a distinct sound plays for the good stuff. Both are yours to tune, or turn off.

🦺 Safety First // Combat, casting, low bag space, Bind on Pickup, and raid-boss containers are all skipped automatically. Your bags stay protected.

Setup

1. Install the add-on, ideally using CurseForge or Wago.
2. Log in. Open Sesame switches Auto Loot on for you, since it can't work without it, and starts opening straight away.
3. Go kill something. Your bags will be tidier than when you started.
4. Left-click the mini-map button to toggle Auto-Opening, right-click for Speedy Loot, middle-click for Loot Sounds.
5. Type /os to fine-tune: where Auto-Opening runs, how Loot Toasts look, and which containers to leave alone.
6. "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a clam."

How It Works

What Gets Opened, and What Does Not

• Opens on sight // Clams, coin purses, sacks, crates, and anything else that needs no key. Nearly 500 containers, matched by item ID.
• Waits on locked boxes // Open Sesame can't pick a lock, so a lockbox still needs a rogue or a key. Once it's unlocked, it opens on its own.
• Pauses when bags get tight // Auto-Opening stops below four free slots and resumes once you make room.
• Skips your Ignore List // Seeded with the containers usually worth more sealed, like raid gem sacks and crates holding Bind on Pickup gear.
• Stands down // In combat, mid-cast, stealthed, or at a vendor, mailbox, bank, auction house, or trade window. Speedy Loot also steps aside under master loot.

Loot Toasts

Loot Toasts replace the need to keep the loot window open. They briefly show everything you pick up and can be positioned and customized with settings for font, size, outline, duration, row count, and stacking direction.

Options

• Open Sesame // Welcome message, mini-map button, and the master switches for Auto-Opening and Speedy Loot. Auto-Opening can be limited to outside instances, or to solo play.
• Notifications // The loot chime and its minimum quality, a separate Pick Pocket chime, and every Loot Toast setting: position, font, size, duration, and which pickups always show.
• Lockboxes // Tooltip skill lines and chat notices, shown to rogues only or to every character.
• Ignore List // Drag in an item, or paste a link or item ID, to leave it alone for good. Shared across your characters, with one-click restore of the defaults.
• Profiles // The standard profile controls.
• Diagnostic Tools // Everything a bug report needs, ready to copy.
