Wow Disenchant Helper

Wow Disenchant Helper (WDH) is a lightweight addon for enchanters that automatically detects duplicate disenchantable items in your bags and helps you safely disenchant them — one click at a time.

How It Works

1. Open the disenchant window with /WDH or click the minimap button
2. The addon scans all your bags and lists every item you have more than once that can be disenchanted (Uncommon, Rare, Epic armor and weapons)
3. Each item row shows the item name, item level, slot, your currently equipped item level in that slot, and the total count in your bags
4. Uncheck any items you want to keep
5. Click "Disenchant Duplicates" — the addon will warn you before queuing any item that is better than what you currently have equipped
6. Click "Disenchant Next" for each item — WoW requires a manual click per cast for security reasons
7. The addon always keeps at least 1 copy of every item and only queues the extras

• Duplicate detection — Scans all bags automatically on open and on bag updates
• Safe disenchanting — Always keeps one copy; only extras are queued
• Upgrade warning — Shows a confirmation dialog if an item to be disenchanted is better than your equipped gear in that slot, or if the slot is empty
• Per-item checkboxes — Exclude individual items from the queue with a single click
• Sorted list — Items sorted by quality (Epic → Rare → Uncommon), then by item level
• Slot & equipped iLvl display — Each row shows the item's slot and your currently equipped item level for quick comparison
• Minimap button — Draggable button that sits around the minimap; left-click opens the disenchant window, right-click opens settings; position is saved between sessions
• Warbound support — Optional setting to include Warbound items in the list

Settings

Open settings via /WDH config or right-click the minimap button.

Setting	Description
Addon Enabled	Enable or disable the addon entirely
Show Tooltip	Show disenchant info when hovering over items
Keep 1 Copy	Always keep at least one copy of each item (recommended)
Include Warbound	Include Warbound items in the disenchant list
Uncommon / Rare / Epic	Toggle which quality tiers appear in the list
Min Item Level	Only show items at or above this item level (0 = no limit)
Max Item Level	Only show items at or below this item level (0 = no limit)

Requirements

• World of Warcraft Retail (12.0.x and above)
• Enchanting profession (required to actually cast Disenchant)

Notes

WoW's secure action system does not allow fully automated spell casting. Every disenchant requires one manual click — this is intentional and cannot be bypassed by any addon.
