TomoDamageMeter

A damage meter that tells you why, not just who.

TomoDamageMeter replaces Blizzard's default meter with a clean, dark, multi-window interface — and then keeps going. Every number on screen is a door: click a player to see their spells, click a pull to see what you fought, click a death to see exactly what killed them.

It reads the game's built-in combat data directly, so it stays accurate and light on your frame rate, with no combat-log scanning to bog things down. It works out of the box: no profiles to import, no six-hundred-option config to wade through.

After the pull

Most meters stop at the leaderboard. This one is built for the thirty seconds after the fight, when you actually want to know what went wrong.

• Death Recap — click any player in the Deaths category and see their last moments: every hit and heal, the health bar draining, the killing blow highlighted in red with its overkill. Hover any row for the full spell tooltip. Optionally pops up on your own death.
• Segment browser — every pull you've done this session, listed with its duration. Click one to see the enemies you fought, click an enemy to see the spells you used on it.
• Avoidable damage as a first-class meter, not an afterthought — the number that actually decides whether a key times.
• Overkill, avoidable and killing-blow flags surfaced right in the spell tooltips, so wasted damage stops being invisible.

Dig in without leaving the meter

• Left-click a bar and that player's spells unfold as indented rows directly underneath, in place, updating live as the fight goes on. Click again to collapse.
• Right-click a bar to open the standalone breakdown window instead — with a player selector strip and a search box, built for full raids.
• Hover a bar for a quick tooltip: headline rate, share of the fight, and the player's top five spells with icons.
• Pets and guardians are credited properly — Kill Command (Hati), not a mystery entry.

Four skins, your call

Pick the look that fits your UI and swap between them live, no /reload:

• Tomo Dark — the signature clean, dark look.
• Tomo Neon — bold purple that matches the rest of TomoSuite.
• Minimal — stripped back: thin bars, tight spacing, barely-there chrome.
• Glossy — glassy, lustred bars with a warm gold accent.

Prefer your own style? The bar-texture picker lists every statusbar texture you have, including ones registered by other addons through LibSharedMedia, plus a few bundled with TomoDamageMeter. Everything updates the moment you change it.

Track what matters

9 meter types across 3 categories:

• Damage — DPS, Damage Taken, Avoidable Damage Taken, Enemy Damage Taken
• Healing — HPS, Absorbs
• Actions — Interrupts, Dispels, Deaths

Flip between Current pull and Overall with a single click. Don't care about healing? Switch the whole category off and it disappears from the navigation and the dropdowns.

Getting started

Drop it in your AddOns folder, log in, and type /tdm to open the settings panel. That's it.

Navigating a window:

• Click the category label (left of the header) to cycle Damage → Healing → Actions.
• Click the type label to cycle meters within that category.
• Click the session label (sub-header) to switch Current ↔ Overall.
• Header icons, left to right: settings, segment browser, spell breakdown, lock, report, reset.
