Smart Reminders

Smart Reminders is a comprehensive, highly configurable boss ability addon that calls out what to press when the fight is about to demand it, hooked into BigWigs or DBM, so every reminder rides bars and messages you already trust instead of a timeline of its own. Built for every spec, not just tanks: a raid-wide hit a DPS should answer with a personal defensive is the same question a tank buster asks, just aimed at someone else.

Core Features

• Boss Ability Reminders — Dungeon and Raid boss lists read straight from your own Dungeon Journal, with a per-boss ability picker. Boss pages start blank; nothing calls out until an ability is added.
• Cooldown Presets — Named lists of defensives, stored per spec. A preset binds to an ability with its own warning time.
• Ability Reminders — Assignable by role, class, spec, name, or subgroup, with AND/OR combinations, so a raid-wide hit reaches whoever should actually answer it.
• Triggers — A boss mod bar or message, a cast starting or finishing, a phase change, time after pull, time in combat, or an aura applied at a stack threshold.
• Display Options — Text, icon, bar, ring, timer, chat line, text-to-speech, nameplate glow, and raid-frame glow, each with its own anchor, size, and colour.
• Reminder Packs — Export a whole profile as one shareable string, with preview before a buyer applies it. Importing lands as a new profile, so nothing of the buyer's own is overwritten.
• Observed Timings — Build a reminder from what the boss actually did on your own pulls, recorded per difficulty, in one click.
• Profile System — Own theme, widget kit, and SavedVariables, with no EllesmereUI dependency. Bind a profile to a spec so the right character lands on it automatically.

Smart Filtering

• Skip When Already Covered drops a call when a big defensive or external is already up, for as long as its own duration covers it.
• Only While I Have the Boss gates tank callouts on the unit actually casting, so an add sharing a boss frame can't steal its callout.
• Call Together ticks two or more cooldowns on a preset and calls them as one — "Vampiric Blood and Icebound Fortitude" — as a single row named for the call, leaving out anything still on cooldown.
• Repeat suppression mutes a repeat of the same pick across different abilities for a few seconds, while a genuine repeat of the same ability still gets its own line.

Getting Started

Open a Dungeon or Raid boss page and add the abilities you want called. Every option ships off by default, so nothing fires until you turn it on. Copy a spec's whole setup to another spec from the top of either boss list, or export a Reminder Pack to hand your setup to the rest of the raid.
