What it does

A quest tracker that stays out of your way. A native-feeling on-screen quest list that replaces Blizzard's tracker: drag it anywhere, resize it, and set the font, size, colors, and spacing to taste. Six sort modes (Zone, Status, Type, Level, Distance, or manual drag order) and per-type filters. Tell it to hide in combat, inside dungeons/raids/delves, or while the world map is open, and collapse when you've got nothing active. Usable quest items appear as a clickable button right on the quest row, and a smart two-tier header names the instance you're in.

Quest icons on nameplates. Objective enemies show a ! right on their nameplate — a skull for kill objectives, a chat bubble for talk-to objectives, the item icon for use-item objectives — plus the remaining count or percent, so you can spot your targets in the 3D world. ElvUI-aware: if you run ElvUI's version, a one-time prompt lets you pick which to use so there's never a duplicate.

World-quest pins you can read in a glance. Every world quest wears a ring colored by its reward — gold for money, blue for gear, purple for reputation, green for resources, orange for artifact power, and more — plus a timer that runs green → yellow → red as it expires. Click to super-track, right-click to dismiss, and mute the reward types and factions you don't chase.

The Chain Guide. A dedicated three-pane window that lays out whole Midnight quest storylines from first quest to last, so you always know what's next and what you skipped. Click any quest to drop a waypoint and get pointed straight at it — TomTom's arrow if you run it, Blizzard's built-in waypoint if you don't. It tracks completion per character, shows completion-date tooltips, and renders the live Midnight Campaign and max-level War of Light and Shadow chapter by chapter from Blizzard's own data. Covers Eversong Woods, Zul'Aman, Harandar, Voidstorm, and Arator.

An account-wide Quest History. A log of every quest turn-in across every character on your account, opened with /eqs history. Five views:

  • Quests — a searchable, filterable list (by character, date, or type); right-click a row to jump to that quest's chain
  • Streak — your current and best daily turn-in streaks, account-wide
  • Chain Timeline — every chain you've progressed, with per-quest dates and checkmarks on completed chains
  • Activity — a 13-week heatmap of your daily turn-ins
  • Totals — gold and XP earned per character, plus your biggest single rewards A one-time backfill walks the game's record of completed quests and adds your history retroactively, and you can export any view to your clipboard.

Branded map markers. Clean, easy-to-spot quest pins on zone maps with the Everything-suite red ring — gold ? for turn-ins, white ! for in-progress. Click to super-track, right-click to dismiss.

Optional auto-accept / auto-turn-in. Off by default and fully opt-in. When enabled, it accepts and turns in quests for you — but only on single-reward turn-ins (multi-choice screens stay open so you pick), and holding Alt during any interaction pauses it for that one event.

One-click access. Minimap button plus the /eqs command:

Minimap button What happens
Left-click Open your quest log
Shift + Left-click Open the Chain Guide
Right-click Open Options
Drag Move it around the minimap

Make it yours. One in-game Options window controls almost everything — layout, fonts (plenty built in), sizes, colors, spacing, what's shown, completion sounds, nameplate icons, world-map pins, auto-quest behavior, and more.

Slash commands

  • /eqs — toggle Options
  • /eqs chain — toggle the Chain Guide
  • /eqs history — toggle Quest History
  • /eqs session — recap of your current play session (quests, XP, gold, time)
  • /eqs whatsnew — what changed in the latest update

Good to know

  • No other addons required. Everything Quests is completely standalone — all libraries are bundled.
  • TomTom is optional but recommended — it adds the on-screen arrow when you click a quest in the Chain Guide. Without it, you still get a map waypoint.
  • ElvUI users: EQ's nameplate icons default off if ElvUI is detected, and a one-time prompt lets you choose. No conflict either way.
  • Safe by default — it only displays information. Auto-accept/turn-in is the one exception, and it's opt-in only.
  • Built for World of Warcraft: Midnight (12.0).
