What it does
Better Tracked Bars
Features
- Automatic discovery and handling of all Blizzard Cooldown Manager tracked bars.
- Per-bar Edit Mode control with style/layout overrides and deterministic auto anchor-chain behavior.
- Integration-aware anchoring to Blizzard/external addon frames and other Better Tracked Bars rows.
- Smooth addon-owned active bars with configurable Bar Visibility modes (Always, In Combat, Active Only) and empty-state display when tracked cooldowns are not active.
- Configurable bar drain direction for active bar visuals.
- Expanded typography controls for ability name, empty-state text, duration timer position/color/tenths, and application-count color plus percent/point-size sizing.
- Per-layout saved positions for detached bars across Edit Mode layout swaps.
- Optional opt-in specialization-profile switching with explicit per-spec assignments.
- Profile import/export sharing plus single-bar import/export for per-bar layout/style portability.
- Edit Mode profile switching and bar-to-bar settings copy using the currently selected bar as the target.
Configuration Flow
- Configure which cooldowns are in Blizzard Tracked Bars (Cooldown Manager settings).
- Open Edit Mode and move/configure each Better Tracked Bars row, switch profiles, or copy settings from another discovered bar.
- Use Settings -> AddOns -> BetterTrackedBars for profile style defaults (bar visibility, texture/font/colors, ability name behavior, timer behavior, application-count styling) and minimap visibility.
- Use Settings -> AddOns -> BetterTrackedBars -> Profiles for profile management, specialization-profile assignments, profile sharing, and bar settings import/export.
While Edit Mode or Blizzard Cooldown Viewer settings are open, BTB shows preview bars for all discovered tracked bars.

- Extract to World of Warcraft/retail/Interface/AddOns/
- Restart WoW or run /reload
