Hardcore Mode for Retail

This addon supports numerous hardcore modes intended for those who would like the hardcore experience in retail. This is particularly intended for either solo players who want to challenge themselves or small groups and communities who want to try a challenge together.

 

Various Modes

The following modes are supported:

Ironman (no heirlooms, no trading, no auction house)

Independent (no trading, no auction house)

Cooperation (no heirlooms)

Hardcore (standard)

Dynamic (start as Ironman, mode adjusts based on rules broken)

 

Earn Points

Dungeon completions and quest completions reward you points based on your mode.

 

Strict Enforcement

You can only initiate on new characters (level 1, 8, or 10 depending on class/race).

 

Community Engagement

Guild-wide announcements on initialization and death.

• Improvements to the point system (PvP kills, max level, mythic dungeon completions)
• Improvements and adjustments to modes (solo only, grouping with similar levels only, no auction house, and more)
• Automated announcements to chat on milestones
• Optional announcements to the hardcore server channel on start, death, and milestones

Use

The application should initialize on launch if the character is appropriate level. Errors will display in the chat box.

Use /archc to view available commands.
