Excerpt from the author's description on CurseForge
Better Item Levels is a lightweight enhancement to Blizzard's default character UI. No new panels, no complete UI overhauls, just the information you already want, displayed where you already look.
- Equipment slots on your character frame show ilvl directly on each slot icon
- Bag slots show ilvl on equippable items only consumables, reagents, and food are ignored
- Inspect frame shows per-slot ilvl labels plus the inspected player's average item level
