About this addon
What it does
If you're like me, you don't like the look of your Dracthyr riding a mount in dragon form. Even with Chosen Identity toggled on, it's still easy to end up in dragon form while out of combat, and that whole one more click to return to Visage form before mounting is just too much work. This addon automatically puts you into Visage form when mounting, with no additional setup or input required.
New with 11.0.5:
- Now works with all Dracthyr, not just evokers.
- Added a new option to enhance your Soar button to be an all-in-one mount button. Type "/visagemount SoarAllInOne" to enable. When enabled, casting Soar from your actionbars will automatically use a random favorite mount if Soar is cannot be used (and remove you from dragon form as usual).
If there are specific situations or combinations of addons that break this functionality, please let me know and I will investigate.
Setup:
- Once the addon is installed, mount buttons on your actionbars will automatically switch you to Visage form if you are in dragon form and out of combat. This includes the Favorite Mount button. Simply drag your favorite mounts onto your actionbars and enjoy.
Notes:
- Tested with stock actionbars and Bartender. Your results may vary with different addons - feel free to drop me a line if it's not working with your favorite addon and I'll take a look.
- Macros are not supported.
- Only mounts on visible actionbars are supported.
- Only supports hotkeys or left clicks with no modifiers (shift, alt, etc) at this time.
- If you show a new actionbar, you will need to /reload before the addon will recognize it.
- I've had a rare occurrence where a mount did not work until it was completely removed from the actionbar and replaced from the mount journal. I'm unclear what caused this (might have been a beta/ptr character template thing), but that's something to try for troubleshooting.
