## How it works
The **Raid Leader** binds symbol macros to keys and presses them in order. Each macro sends a code in instance chat (`/i`). The addon reads the codes, builds the sequence, and automatically broadcasts it to the raid once all 5 symbols are in.
Everyone with the addon installed sees the markers displayed as a **U-shaped semicircle** on their screen.

## First-time Setup
On first login after installing, a popup will ask whether you are a Raid Leader.
- **Yes, I'm RL** — creates the 5 symbol macros automatically and explains how to use them. - **No** — closes the popup. You can still create the macros later with `/sc createmacros`.

## Setting Up Macros
Run this command once if you skipped the first-time popup:
``` /sc createmacros ```
This creates **5 character macros** in your macro panel:

Open your macro panel (**Shift+P** → Macros), find the macros, and bind them to keys.

## Settings
Go to **Interface > AddOns > SymbolChat** to adjust: - Popup duration (3–30 seconds) - Popup scale (50–200%) - Dark background behind the popup - Popup position reset
The **minimap button** can be dragged around the minimap. **Ctrl + click** checks who in the raid has the addon. **Ctrl + right-click** toggles the dark background behind the popup.

- Only the **Raid Leader or an Assistant** can send sequences and enable RL Mode - Members without the addon won't see the popup, but RL Mode still works for those who have it - Works in raids, parties, and dungeons
