SimplePartyTargets

SimplePartyTargets adds clear, lightweight target information directly to the party frames you already use, showing each party member's current target in a dedicated Target-Block without replacing your unit frames.

It is built for players who want better target awareness in Mythic+, dungeons, Arenas, and everyday group content while keeping a clean Blizzard-style UI. SPT supports Blizzard party frames, Danders Frames, and EllesmereUI, with provider-aware positioning, preview support, and detailed customization that stays focused on one job: making party targets easy to see.

Supported Party Frames

SimplePartyTargets is designed to work across its supported party-frame providers rather than as a Blizzard-frame-only extension.

Blizzard Party Frames
- Supports Classic Portrait Style party frames.
- Supports Raid-Style Party Frames in horizontal and vertical layouts.
- Reacts to supported Blizzard Edit Mode positioning and layout changes.

Danders Frames
- Detects Danders Frames automatically.
- Supports horizontal and vertical party-frame layouts.
- Supports solo own-target display when the DF player frame is available.
- Supports Danders Frames test/unlock previews.
- Keeps Target-Blocks attached reliably through party roster changes as Danders Frames creates or reassigns frames.

EllesmereUI
- Detects EllesmereUI party frames automatically.
- Supports horizontal and vertical layouts.
- Supports EUI Self Position configurations, including Default, First, Last, and hidden self frames.
- Supports live own-target display while solo when EUI keeps the player's party frame visible.
- Supports EllesmereUI Unlock/Edit Mode with a five-block SPT preview that follows the Party Frames mover and layout.
- Supports EUI party frames in Arenas.

Raid-Marker Positioning

SPT's Raid-Marker override is designed for both quick setup and pixel-perfect adjustment.

Available marker positions:
- Top Left
- Top
- Top Right
- Left
- Center
- Right
- Bottom Left
- Bottom
- Bottom Right

Every position is available regardless of party-frame provider or horizontal/vertical layout.

Separate Horizontal Offset and Vertical Offset controls let you fine-tune the marker after choosing its general position. Turning the override off restores SPT's normal marker placement without deleting your custom setup.

Customization

SimplePartyTargets includes focused appearance and layout controls without trying to become a full unitframe replacement.

- Fonts — Adjust font size and use LibSharedMedia font choices where available.
- Block layout — Adjust width, height, spacing, opacity, and supported Auto-Flip behavior.
- Borders & colors — Choose border styles and colors, including dead-target presentation.
- Readability — Use long-name wrapping, optional shadows, and adjustable fade-out behavior.
- Font safety — Cyrillic names fall back to a compatible font when needed.

Compatibility

SimplePartyTargets is built for modern Retail World of Warcraft and designed around WoW's protected and Secret Value environment.

Supported party-frame providers:
- Blizzard default party frames
- Danders Frames
- EllesmereUI

SPT handles restricted target information conservatively and falls back gracefully when class, reaction, name, or other target information cannot be safely read.

SimplePartyTargets focuses on party-member targets rather than becoming a full raid-frame target system.

Commands & Access

- `/spt` — Shows the command list.
- `/spt options` — Opens the SimplePartyTargets options window.
- `/spt reset` — Resets the options-window position.

Aliases: `/spt help` and `/spt settings` are also supported.

Other access points include the optional minimap button and Titan Panel / LibDataBroker support.

When reporting an issue, please include:
- Your WoW version
- Which party-frame provider you were using: Blizzard, Danders Frames, or EllesmereUI
- Whether the frames were horizontal or vertical, when relevant
- A short description of what happened
- The full Lua error text, if one appeared
