Remember who they are.

Personal Player Notes lets you keep private reminders about players you meet in World of Warcraft. Add an optional note, choose an optional color-coded reason, or use both — then see your reminder directly in the player's tooltip the next time you meet.

Your notes are stored locally on your computer and are never shared or sent anywhere.

Features

• Personal notes — save a private reminder for any player.
• Optional reasons — organize players with your own color-coded labels, such as "Crafter", "Alchemy", "Helpful player", or "Met in a dungeon".
• Icons — pick an icon for a reason or an individual player from a searchable picker, shown next to it in the tooltip. You can also add your own icon image files, which always appear first in the picker.
• Tooltip reminders — view your note, reason, and icon as soon as you hover over a listed player.
• Sound alerts — play a sound when you encounter a listed player.
• Flexible alerts — hear an alert once per session, or repeat it after a delay you choose.
• Custom sounds — choose sounds for your whole list, a reason, or an individual player. You can also add your own .mp3 or .ogg sound files.
• Quickly add players — right-click players from unit frames, chat links, and other supported places to add or edit them.
• Minimap shortcuts — open settings, reasons, your player list, and the Blizzard options page directly from the minimap button.
• Multiple profiles — keep separate lists for different characters, or share one list across them.
• Changelog panel — see what changed in the latest version right from the in-game options.

Getting started

1. Open the addon with /ppn, or right-click a player from a supported unit frame or chat link.
2. Add a private note, select a reason, or use both.
3. Hover over that player later to see your saved reminder.

Privacy

Personal Player Notes stores its data locally in WoW's PersonalPlayerNotesDB SavedVariables file. It has no sharing, publishing, or communication feature.
