About

For over a decade, Overachiever by Tuhljin has been the go-to companion for achievement hunters across Azeroth. When the original addon fell dormant after Battle for Azeroth, thousands of players lost the tools they relied on. Overachiever Reborn picks up where Tuhljin left off, carrying the full spirit of the original into the Midnight era — and adding a host of new features along the way.

🗂️ Achievement frame tabs

• Search — find achievements by name, description, reward and more. Quick slash search too (e.g. /ach food).
• Suggestions — achievements suggested from your current zone, instance, holiday events, and more (including the newest Midnight zones).
• Watch — build your own custom watch lists.
• Related — see how achievements connect to each other (Ctrl+Shift-click any achievement to jump to its Related view).

📍 Waypoints button

Achievements with known target locations get a map-pin button — in the Overachiever tabs and in the standard achievements tab. One click sends every missing target to TomTom (multi-waypoint), or sets the native map pin if TomTom isn't installed. Already-completed criteria are filtered out automatically.

Coordinate data ships in per-expansion modules you can disable individually: Burning Crusade (Bloody Rare), Wrath (Frostbitten), Pandaria, Legion, Battle for Azeroth (all six zone Adventurers, Mechagon, Nazjatar), Shadowlands, Dragonflight, The War Within and Midnight — 60+ achievements, ~1,350 spawn points at launch, growing over time.

🔔 NPC detection

When an NPC required by one of your incomplete achievements is nearby, Overachiever Reborn alerts you: minimap vignettes, mouseover, target and nameplates are all watched. You get a toast (click it to open the achievement), a distinctive sound, and an automatic TomTom waypoint when the position is known. Works everywhere — open world, instances, warfronts. Every part of it can be toggled in the options.

💬 Smart tooltips

• Unit tooltips show kill-criteria info for mobs and critters you still need.
• Item tooltips react to consume/use/acquire criteria ("must be consumed for…") — everywhere an item tooltip appears.
• Achievement tooltips: series info, meta-achievement requirements, progress comparison on linked achievements, optional achievement IDs.
• Meta-achievement criteria in the objectives view can be hovered (tooltip) and clicked (jump to that achievement).

⚙️ Quality of life

• Custom achievement toasts, progress reactions and auto-tracking options (timed achievements, exploration, and more).
• Draggable achievement frame.
• Full French localization alongside English (other languages inherited from the original).
• Everything is configurable: /oar or the AddOns options panel. Most features can be disabled independently.

📝 Notes

• TomTom is optional but strongly recommended for the waypoint and detection features.
• The per-expansion coordinate modules are separate folders — disable any expansion you don't need in the AddOns list.
• Rebuilt from the ground up for Midnight's taint model: no Blizzard globals are replaced, no secure frames are written to.
