🔒 ZoneLocked

ZoneLocked transforms World of Warcraft into a survival-style progression challenge where zones are locked — and must be earned. Whether you level up, farm materials, or grind tokens, the world becomes something you unlock, not something you rush through.

 

🌍 Key Features

🧭 Progression-Based Exploration

All zones start locked except your racial starting zone. Unlock new areas one at a time using Unlock Tokens.

 

🎮 Choose Your Mode

Select your playstyle from the UI or via /zl mode:

• Skill Mode – Earn tokens by leveling your character or professions. Includes a Skill Bar and profession-based progress UI.
• War Effort Mode – Farm items to support your faction’s war effort. Costs increase per contribution.
• Token Mode – Spend one WoW Token to unlock a zone. Ideal for long-term retail players.
• Manual Mode – For full control, mark zones complete manually.
• ATT Mode (optional) – Unlock zones by fully completing them in All The Things (ATT).

 

🎲 Optional Random Unlock

Enable Random Unlock to spin a lootbox-style selector when redeeming tokens.

 

🗺️ Map Overlays & Tooltips

Locked zones are dimmed on the world map, with tooltips showing unlock status and requirements.

 

🧱 In-Game UI

Type /zl to open the ZoneLocked interface:

• Mode Selection
• Zone Unlock Tracker (auto-refreshes)
• Token & Skill Status
• Settings

🪙 Floating Token Button

A movable UI button appears when tokens are available — allowing fast zone unlocks.

 

👤 Character-Based Progress

All data is tracked per character, including mode, progress, and unlocks.

 

🌍 Expansion Support

• Classic, Outland, Wrath, Cataclysm (Partly), Pandaria, Draenor

 

 

🧪 Slash Commands

Command	Description
/zl	Open the main UI
/zl bank <name>	Set Skill Mode bank alt
/zl mode	Change progression mode
/zl random	Toggle random unlock
/zl reset	Reset all progress
/zl redeem [x]	Redeem [x] tokens (Token Mode only)

   

⚠️ Known Limitations

• Token Mode cooldown is still in development
• Outland/Northrend support is partially implemented
• Some zones and tooltips are still being refined
• UI polish and cosmetic updates are ongoing
