LiteRaidFrames is a lightweight aura indicator overlay for Blizzard's default compact raid and party frames. It replaces the default buff display with clean, customizable icons for the HoTs and buffs that matter most to healers, with no frame replacement and zero taint.

The purpose of this addon is to let you customize your raid frames as a healer in less than 5 minutes.

Features

Healer Spec Detection

LRF activates automatically when you're playing a healer specialization and goes dormant otherwise. All seven healer specs (and aug !) are supported:

• Holy Paladin
• Restoration Druid
• Discipline Priest
• Holy Priest
• Restoration Shaman
• Mistweaver Monk
• Preservation Evoker
• Augmentation Evoker

Each spec comes with a set of tracked spells (Beacons, Rejuvenation, Atonement, Riptide, etc.) that can be toggled on or off.

Drag-and-Drop Icon Positioning

Position each aura icon exactly where you want it on the unit frame. The config window includes a mock unit frame preview — simply drag icons to place them. Icons snap to frame edges and to each other for precise alignment.

Per-Spell Icon Size

Override the global icon size on a per-spell basis. Want your Regrowth to be larger than your Rejuvenation? Set a custom size for each individual aura.

Duration Countdown & Stack Count

Optionally display a duration countdown timer and stack count on each icon. Text size is adjustable.

Custom Auras

Track any buff by entering its Spell ID. Custom auras are added per-spec and can be toggled on or off just like base spells. Use /lrf dump to discover spell IDs for buffs currently on your character.

Profiles

Create multiple configuration profiles per specialization. Each profile stores its own icon positions, sizes, aura toggles, and display settings independently.

Automatic Group-Size Profile Switching

Assign different profiles to different group size ranges (1–5, 6–10, 11–20, 21–30, 31–40). LRF automatically switches to the correct profile as your group size changes, so your 5-man dungeon layout can differ from your 20-man mythic raid layout with no manual intervention.

Pure Overlay — No Taint

LRF hooks into Blizzard's CompactUnitFrame_UpdateAuras without replacing any frames or using secure templates. This means no UI taint, no combat lockdown issues, and full compatibility with the default raid frame experience.

To open the configuration window, type /lrf
