Hide Battle.net Stuff

Warning: The "View Houses" button is blocked by this addon's hide Bnet friends feature. Everything else is still safe to use, like hiding the btag for privacy, etc. I'm working on a solution. For now to use the View Houses button, turn the friends feature off (and reload) when you need to use it.

This addon purges Battle.net stuff from the game, like the good ol days of 2004

 

Features (Each can be toggled in the settings, but since some people wish to use this for privacy purposes, most are on by default)

• Friends List no longer lists Real ID or Battle.net friends (the number on the button reflects this, only in game friends are counted as online)
• Hides your BattleTag ID from the top of the Friends List
• Hides and silences Quick Join toasts (Optionally hide the Friends List tab as well)
• Hides Friend Requests in the Friends List
• Each function has an option to return to default behavior by holding shift as you open the Friends List

Other notes

• Nothing in the Battle.net launcher will be affected, and other players will still be able to interact with you as normal. This addon is client side only and only affects Blizzard UI.
• The addon does not decline any invites or remove any friends. All functions are cosmetic.
• There are additional options in the WoW Interface/Social settings menu that need to be toggled to fully disable the rest of the Battle.net junk
• Whispers will show up normally unless you remove them from your chat window.
• Also works in Vanilla and Cata, but it's not as deeply tested for those. Let me know if there's problems.
• It's unlikely to break unless Blizz does an overhaul of Battle.net functionality, so don't worry if the TOC is out of date.
• If new Battle.net features are added and I miss them, drop a comment.
