DoorStep maintains a fully synchronized live tour queue for your group and gives Tour Leaders complete control over the tour flow — with powerful automatic house data capture, endeavor tracking, a real-time queue everyone can see, and an optional fully hands-free auto-pilot mode.

Tired of babysitting the tour buttons? Flip on Player Controlled Tour and let DoorStep run the whole thing for you.

✅ Players @Visit in — DoorStep announces their stop and starts the timer automatically, no clicks needed

✅ When a stop's timer runs out, DoorStep automatically announces the next house and starts its timer 15 seconds later

✅ Queue runs dry? DoorStep just waits patiently for the next @Visit to pick things back up — nothing to reset, nothing to babysit

✅ Re-posts join instructions every 3 minutes automatically, and re-announces the current stop too if a timer's actively running

✅ You're never locked out — Lock Queue, End Tour, and Reset Tour are always available on demand

✅ Automatically enables Use Timer and Whisper New Members while active so everything stays in sync

Not every group wants a synchronized countdown. The new Use Timer checkbox lets you choose your tour style:

✅ Checked — the full numbered 1 → 2 → 3 sequence (Start/Next Stop → Start Timer → Stop Timer), with the active step glowing so you always know what's next

✅ Unchecked — Start/Stop Timer disappear entirely, leaving a single always-clickable Next Stop button. Advance the tour manually, at your own pace, whenever you're ready

✅ Announce Current and Chat Commands automatically adjust their wording depending on whether a timer is in play

 

━━━━━━━━ 🏠 AUTOMATIC HOUSE CAPTURE ━━━━━━━━

No manual entry. DoorStep automatically fetches each player's neighborhood name and plot number directly from the WoW housing API the moment they join the group.

✅ Press @Visit Alliance or @Visit Horde in the DoorStep window

✅ Or type @Visit A / @Visit H in group chat — even without the addon

✅ DoorStep captures neighborhood and plot number automatically

✅ Both Alliance and Horde homes supported per player — each gets its own queue entry listed as a sub-row under the player

✅ Add an optional note before pressing @Visit for extra house info

✅ Re-use @Visit anytime to update your info — whispers you a confirmation

 

━━━━━━━━ 📊 NEIGHBORHOOD ENDEAVOR TRACKING ━━━━━━━━

Type @Vendor in group chat to share your active Neighborhood Endeavor and progress with the tour group. DoorStep displays this in the Notes column for every queued player — and now captures each home's Endeavor separately for dual-home players, so your Alliance and Horde progress never get mixed up.

✅ Supports all 6 current WoW Midnight endeavors

✅ Progress shown as x/4 milestones in the queue list

✅ Type #V in group chat to get a whisper summary of all shared endeavor info

✅ Works for both addon and non-addon users

 

━━━━━━━━ 💬 CHAT COMMANDS — NO ADDON REQUIRED ━━━━━━━━━

Non-addon players can fully participate using group chat commands:

Command	What it does
@Visit A or @Visit H	Adds your home to the queue
@Vendor	Shares your neighborhood endeavor progress
#C	Whispers you current house info
#Q	Whispers you your queue position
#T	Whispers you the current stop name and timer remaining (when Use Timer is on)
#V	Whispers you a summary of all shared endeavor info

 

DoorStep also accepts common @Visit typos (@vist, @vsit, @viist, etc.) and will whisper you to ask Alliance or Horde if you forget to specify.

Tour Leaders get a full management panel:

🤖 Player Controlled Tour — hands-free auto-pilot; DoorStep runs the announce/timer cycle for you

⏱️ Use Timer — toggle between the full numbered sequence or a simple manual Next Stop

⭐ Start Tour / Next Stop — announces the current house to the group

⏱️ Start Timer — synchronized countdown per house (configurable duration)

⏹️ Stop Timer (Optional) — stop early if needed; timer also auto-expires

📢 Announce Current — re-announces the active house at any time

📋 Say Instructions — posts join instructions to group chat (automatically switches to a @Vendor-only message while the queue is locked)

💬 Chat Commands — posts #C/#Q/#T/#V info to group chat

🔒 Lock Queue — prevents new entries (broadcasts to group)

👥 FFA Mode — open visits with no managed tour order

📩 Whisper New Members — auto-whispers join instructions to new joiners

➕ Manually Add Player — add absent or external players with known house info

🔁 Reset Tour — clears queue, resets all checkboxes and the active timer, auto-fires if you leave the group

🛑 End Tour — sends raid warning thanking the group

Numbered action buttons (1. Start Tour / Next Stop, 2. Start Timer, 3. Stop Timer) include a green glow border showing which button to press next — the glow advances automatically through each step, and only that step is ever clickable, so you can't jump out of order by accident.
