# Disenchant Value

**Stop throwing away gold.** Disenchant Value is a lightweight, all-in-one utility that calculates the *real* value of your gear. It tells you exactly whether you should vendor an item to an NPC or shatter it into enchanting materials to sell on the Auction House.

Compatible with **Retail**, **Mists of Pandaria Classic**, and **Classic Anniversary**.

## 🌟 Key Features

* **Smart Valuation:** The addon scans the Auction House to get the current market prices for Dusts, Essences, Shards, and Crystals. It then calculates the *Expected Value (EV)* of disenchanting an item based on its Item Level, Quality, and Type.
* **Clear Tooltips:** No mental math required. Your item tooltips will show a side-by-side comparison of the Vendor Price vs. the Disenchant Value.
    * **<span style="color:green">Green Text:</span>** The more profitable option.
    * **<span style="color:red">Red Text:</span>** The losing option.
    * **Recommendation:** A clear "Disenchant" or "Vendor" line at the bottom of the tooltip.
* **Bag Highlighting:** Open your bags, and the addon will automatically glow/highlight any item that is worth more as enchanting dust than as raw vendor gold. Process your inventory in seconds!
* **Transparent Math:** Curious where the number came from? Enable the "Breakdown" view to see the exact probabilities (e.g., *75% chance of 2x Spirit Dust, 25% chance of Mysterious Essence*).
* **Data Export:** Export your server's enchanting price data to CSV for external spreadsheet analysis.

## 🚀 How to Use

1.  **Visit the Auction House:** Open the AH window and click the **"Scan Enchanting"** button (added by the addon). This takes a few seconds and updates your local database with fresh prices.
2.  **Check Your Gear:** Hover over any green, blue, or epic item.
3.  **Make the Choice:** Follow the green text!
    * If the addon says **Disenchant**, smash that item!
    * If the addon says **Vendor**, sell it to the NPC.

## 💻 Slash Commands

* `/dv scan` - Manually triggers an Auction House scan.
* `/dv force` - Forces a re-scan even if your data is fresh (useful if prices are volatile).
* `/dv breakdown` - Toggles the detailed probability math in the tooltip.
* `/dv export` - Opens a window with CSV data of current material prices to copy/paste.
* `/dv check` - Checks the status of your price database.
* `/dv debug` - Toggles debug mode for developers.
