Cooldown Manager Custom Sounds

Cooldown Manager Custom Sounds enhances the Cooldown Manager by letting you define your own custom sound entries and seamlessly use them alongside Blizzard sounds and SharedMedia sounds.

It adds new “Custom” and, optionally, "SharedMedia" sections to the Cooldown Manager's alert sound dropdown. Any sounds you create will appear there and behave exactly like built-in entries — including full preview and alert playback support.

How To Use

1. Open Game Menu → Settings → AddOns → Cooldown Manager Custom Sounds.

2. Click Add Sound.

3. Enter:

• Name – The label that will appear in the dropdown (required).
• Sound – Either:
  • A numeric SoundKitID
  • A numeric FileDataID
• Optionally, enter Stop After/Fade Over values (helpful for looping sounds)
• Optionally, for SoundKits, choose to disallow duplicate sounds from being played until all sounds have been played at least once.

4. Click Play to preview the sound.

5. Open the Cooldown Manager alert editor and select your sound under the Custom section.
