Key Features

• Two-Step BiS Selection: A dual-dropdown system simplifies navigation. The first dropdown lists all available classes (e.g., "DK", "Druid", "Hunter"), while the second displays BiS specializations for the selected class (e.g., "Blood San'layn", "Frost Deathbringer"). This reduces clutter and enhances usability.
• Dynamic BiS Display: Upon selecting a specialization, a frame appears alongside the character window (C), organized into three columns: left (Head, Neck, Shoulders, Back, Chest, Wrists), right (Hands, Waist, Legs, Feet, Rings), and bottom (Weapon, Off Hand, Trinkets).
• Interactive Tooltips: Hover over any BiS item in the frame to view a tooltip with details such as item name and source, providing comprehensive gear information at a glance.
• Custom BiS Sets Creation: Create, edit, duplicate, and delete your own BiS sets with ease. Choose from predefined options like Raid/Dungeon drops, Set & Catalyst items, Crafted & Quest items, or specify a custom item by ID to build a personalized gear list tailored to your playstyle. Save your custom sets and set them as the default BiS for your specialization.
• BiS Item Indicator: When inspecting items anywhere in the game (inventory, bags, loot, or chat links), a cyan "!!! BiS Item for your spec !!!" line appears in the tooltip if the item matches your current specialization’s BiS list (including custom sets if set as default).
• Talent Build Integration: A lateral frame displays talent builds for the selected specialization, sourced from a predefined database. Each build is presented as a clickable button (e.g., "Mythic+ (Deathbringer)"), opening a popup with the import code for easy copying.
• Talent Copy Popup: Clicking a talent button opens a compact window with an auto-highlighted import code, ready to copy with Ctrl+C and closable with Enter or Escape, ensuring a seamless workflow.
• Seamless Integration: The addon syncs with the character window, appearing when opened and hiding when closed, maintaining a clean and unobtrusive UI.
• Dynamic Detection: Automatically detects the player’s active class and specialization, preselecting the appropriate options upon opening or after specialization/talent changes.

How It Works

• Gear Database: BiS Companion relies on BisData.lua, a predefined database of BiS gear lists for various class/specialization combinations, sourced from in-game activities like raids, dungeons, crafting, and delves. Players can extend this database by creating custom BiS sets, which are saved and can be set as the default for a specialization.
• Talent Database: Talent builds are stored in TalentData.lua, including build names, hero trees, and import codes, allowing players to access optimized talent setups effortlessly.
• User Interaction: Players select a class, then a specialization, to view BiS gear and talents in one cohesive interface, all within the game environment. The BiS indicator extends this functionality to all item tooltips, highlighting relevant gear instantly—whether from predefined or custom BiS sets.
