Loss of Control Alerter (LoCA) is a lightweight but powerful World of Warcraft addon designed to give you immediate, unmissable feedback the moment your character loses control in combat. Time is everything, and instantly knowing you are stunned, silenced, rooted, or disarmed is crucial for survival.

🌟 New Features & Fixes in latest release

• Add Custom Spells UI: Older engine clients (like Classic/Vanilla) lack modern Blizzard API event hooks, meaning PVP addons usually rely on large, hardcoded lists of spells. Instead of manually editing Lua code, you can now simply type /loca, jump to the "Add Custom Spell" tab, type in the WoWHead Spell ID of the missing CC (such as Mace Stun), choose its category, and the addon will perfectly track it forever! You can remove these from the UI at any time.
• Fixed "1 out of 4 States" Missing UI Bug: We isolated and completely eliminated a major loop destruction bug affecting older clients, which prevented the addon from tracking 75% of crowd control types during PVP combat.

• Instant Alerts: Immediately shows an icon and timer when you are hit by CC.

Configuration

Type /loca or go to Interface Options -> AddOns -> Loss of Control Alerter.

• Unlock: Move the alert frame anywhere on your screen.
• Test: Preview the alert to adjust scale and positioning.
• Style: Switch between "Box" and "Default" visuals.
• Add Custom Spell: Dynamically add unsupported or missing abilities.
