Class Reminders

Keep track of the buffs, preparation, and combat information that matter to your character.

Class Reminders combines class-specific reminders, pet checks, consumable tracking, and group buff monitoring with configurable resource bars and utility displays, all managed through one class-aware settings menu.

The additional bars and layout tools are reminder-adjacent utilities: they help you track the resources, cooldowns, and conditions behind your next action. Class Reminders is not intended to be a full UI replacement, but it can cover many important parts of your interface. Enable the features you want and configure them around your existing setup.

Reminders and Preparation

• Class Buffs and Abilities — Visual reminders for missing buffs, weapon imbues, poisons, shields, auras, stances, forms, and other class-specific upkeep.
• Pets — Reminders for missing pets, low pet health, passive or defensive stance, and applicable specialization-specific pet choices.
• Consumables — Track food, flasks, augment runes, and weapon buffs, with click-to-use support where available.
• External Buffs — Check for missing raid buffs based on your group's composition, with optional group and whisper buff requests.
• Gear and Utility Checks — Equipment-set reminders for PvE and PvP, preferred trinket checks, repair reminders, feast alerts, and Gateway utilities.
• Sound and Interaction — Optional sound or text-to-speech alerts, plus click-to-cast and other contextual actions where supported.
• Custom Aura Tracking — Add your own aura trackers and configure their appearance and tracking conditions.

Resource Bars and Related Utilities

Bring important combat information closer to your reminders:

• Class Resources — Configurable resource displays for all 13 classes, including segmented bars and specialization-specific resources.
• Color Thresholds and Effects — Supported resources can change color or flash at important thresholds. Soul Shards include per-specialization low-shard colors and configurable maximum-shard color and flash effects.
• Player Health and Mana — Optional displays with configurable appearance and positioning.
• Player Castbar — Customize casts, channels, channel ticks, and Evoker empowered spells with stage markers.
• Coordinated Layouts — Anchor displays to other frames and match supported bar widths to the Essential Cooldowns Viewer.

A Lighter Touch for Blizzard's Cooldown Manager

Class Reminders takes a lighter touch with the in-game Cooldown Manager (CDM), prioritizing efficient modifications to Blizzard's existing viewers instead of rebuilding them as another set of replacement frames.

The focus is on improving presentation and placement while avoiding the additional overhead of maintaining replacement viewers simply to change how the CDM looks.

Customize Buff Icons, Essential Cooldowns, and Utility Cooldowns with options for positioning, anchoring, sizing, centering, stack counts, and cooldown text.

Separate, optional Custom Bars provide additional icon displays for Defensives, Consumables, and Crowd Control.

General reminders and utility features are available alongside class-specific options.

Arrange and Customize

• Autogrow — Collect selected reminders in a shared container that grows with its contents. Configure orientation, spacing, wrapping, text, and effects. Autogrow settings are shared across characters.
• Individual or Shared Appearance — Customize icon size, zoom, opacity, text, fonts, colors, glows, and frame layers, or apply shared styling to selected reminders.
• Live Appearance Previews — See enabled reminders and supported bars in their settings pages, including relevant resource color states.
• Pick Frame Anchoring — Select an on-screen frame to anchor to, with highlighted targets and selectable outlines for supported empty cooldown viewers.
• Redesigned Options Menu — Searchable settings, compact two-column tables, clear section headings, and adjustable menu sizes.
• SharedMedia Support — Use additional fonts, textures, and sounds through LibSharedMedia. Pairs well with SharedMedia.

Show Reminders When They Matter

Configure visibility around combat, dungeons, raids, rest areas, Battlegrounds, Arenas, and other supported conditions.

Additional suppression rules help reduce unnecessary alerts during loading, dungeon progression, and active Mythic+ runs. Available conditions vary by reminder.

Profiles and Sharing

Save and load named profiles, or import and export settings through compressed strings. Export scopes let you share reminder, resource, CDM, or castbar settings separately.

Autogrow uses shared account-wide settings; equipment-set and trinket selections use character-specific settings.

• /cr, /wr, or /classreminders — Open settings
• /cr lock — Lock frame positions
• /cr unlock — Unlock frames for positioning
• /cr reset — Reset frame positions
• /cr test — Show reminders for testing

A minimap button also provides access to the addon.
