What it does
AuraFix
The Problem:
Blizzard's default UI updates ALL aura's (buffs/debuffs) on ALL raid/party members whenever ANY aura receives an update.
The Solution:
This addon should effectively fix the performance issue by:
- Only redrawing the specific aura that changed instead of the entire aura frame
- Preventing the default UI's inefficient update behavior
- Using proper event filtering to avoid processing unnecessary updates
- Implementing an optimized frame management system
- AuraFix also includes configuration options to fine-tune the display and behavior of auras through both the Edit Mode UI and a configuration panel, allowing users to customize the appearance while maintaining the performance improvements.
For those experiencing issues after upgrading from a previous version, delete the Aurafix configs from your SavedVariables as there have been significant changes to the back-end
FYI: I'm aware that not everything is working smoothly, I pushed this latest version to release as it adds some much needed functionality (ie. weapon oils, stones, poisons etc.) without breaking the base functionality or purpose.
